On May 10th, 2021, at approximately 10:56 am, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred in the 400 block of East Simpson Street. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a box truck operated by Seibert stopped to make a right turn onto a side alley. Seibert was travelling westbound at the time. A dump truck behind Seibert rear ended Seibert’s vehicle. The dump truck was being operated by Mixell. The box truck was pushed off the road and into a nearby yard, striking and running over a stop sign. Seibert and his passenger both reported injuries as a result of the crash and were evaluated on scene by EMS. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS and Hampden Township EMS.
