On June 2nd, 2021, at approximately 7:56 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South Market and Marble Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival it was determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash revealed a vehicle being operated by Brown was travelling westbound on East Marble Street. She stopped at the stop sign and upon pulling into the intersection she was struck by a vehicle being operated by Thomas. Brown advised she did not see Thomas’ vehicle which was travelling southbound on South Market Street. Both vehicles required towing from the scene.
