On June 4th, 2021, at approximately 1:57 pm, the victim contacted the police department regarding their employer advising them they received notification the victim had applied for unemployment benefits. The victim’s name and social security number were used when the benefits were applied for. The victim contacted the Department of Labor and Industry to report the issue. It is unknown who used the victim’s identifying information to apply for the benefits. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
