On June 17th, 2021, at approximately 1:22 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 400 block of South York Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there was one vehicle involved. Investigation into the crash determined a vehicle being operated by Silvestri-Parsells, was northbound on South York Street when her vehicle veered to the right and left the roadway. Her vehicle struck a fire hydrant and a stone pillar located on a property in the 300 block of South York Street. Silverstri-Parsells was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The police department was assisted on scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department, Penn State Health EMS and Hampden Township EMS.
