On June 17th, 2021, at approximately 6:36 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of West Main and High Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were three vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a vehicle stopped at the stop sign on North High Street. The operator of the vehicle, Colt, was attempting to turn left to travel eastbound on West Main Street. Upon pulling from the stop sign, Colt’s vehicle was struck by a truck being operated by Diffendarfer. Diffendarfer was operating his truck eastbound on West Main Street. After striking Colt’s vehicle, Diffendarfer’s truck struck a parked vehicle on the north side of the street. This vehicle was parked illegally at the time of the crash. Diffendarfer’s vehicle and the parked vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained in the crash.
