On December 11th, 2022, at approximately 12:40 am, the police department was dispatched to the 1st block of West Main Street for a domestic issue. The victim advised she and her boyfriend got into a verbal argument which turned physical. The victim had visible injuries consistent with what was reported to have occurred. The boyfriend was identified as Johnson and he was arrested. He was transported to the Cumberland County Prison and was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael Sanderson. Johnson was given $5,000 unsecure bail. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
