On December 11th, 2022, at approximately 5:32 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 100 block of North Walnut Street for a hit and run crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers found the victim had their vehicle parked in the 100 block of North Walnut Street. They were facing north. A northbound vehicle side swiped the victim’s vehicle as it passed. The operator of the striking vehicle did not stop and continued travelling northbound. The victim was delivering packages for the Amazon and was operating an Amazon owned vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
