On January 29th, 2023, at approximately 6:23 am, the police department was dispatched to the 400 block of Valley Street for a domestic issue. The victim advised she and her husband got into a verbal argument which turned physical. The victim had visible injuries consistent with what was reported to have occurred. The husband was identified as Acosta and he was arrested. He was transported to the Cumberland County Prison and was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Mark Martin. Acosta was given $5,000 secure bail. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
