On January 30th, 2023, at approximately 7:28 am, the police department was dispatched to the 100 block of West Coover Street for a domestic issue. The victim advised she and her ex-boyfriend got into a verbal argument which turned physical. The victim had visible injuries consistent with what was reported to have occurred. The ex-boyfriend was identified as Woods. Woods was not at the address at the time of the investigation and a warrant was obtained. Woods was located back at the residence on 2/2 and was arrested. He was transported to the Cumberland County Prison and was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kathryn Silcox. Woods was given secure bail. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
