On November 13th, 2023 at approximately 1:41 am., the Mechanicsburg Police Department was dispatched to the 200 block of North Arch Street for an assault. Todd Moody was identified as the defendant, and he fled the scene prior to Police arrival. It was learned Moody placed his hands around the victim’s throat and applied force. Moody also would not allow the victim to stand up. Officers did observe injury to the victim consistent with being strangled. Moody was located and arrested. He was transported to Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
