On August 15th, 2023 at approximately 8:26 pm the Police Department was dispatched to the 800 block of North Market Street for an assault. It was determined Romano physically assaulted the victim prior to leaving the scene. Romano reportedly struck the victim in the head with her cell phone several times. The victim was able to push her away at which time she punched him in the face with a closed fist. The victim had injuries consistent with what he reported. Romano was located at her residence by the Carlisle Police Department where she was taken into custody.
