On May 20th, 2023, at approximately 2:00 am, an officer began following a vehicle in the 400 block of East Main Street. After following the vehicle, a traffic stop was conducted for a vehicle code violation. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Cook and he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. It was determined Cook was not safe to operate a motor vehicle and he was arrested. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
