On June 14th, 2023, at approximately 12:08 pm, the police department was contacted by an employee about their work vehicle being struck. The employee advised they parked the vehicle in the 100 block of East Main Street around 10:00 am. The victim vehicle is a van owned by the United States Postal Service. The employee parked and delivered mail in the area. Upon returning to the van, the side view mirror was struck and damaged by a passing vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
