On September 14th, 2021, at approximately 5:04 am, officers came upon a stop sign and post which had been knocked down at the intersection of North Arch and East Allen Streets. Upon looking at the sign and post it was discovered another post, holding up a chain for a private parking lot, had also been damaged. There were wheel marks in the gravel and across the base of where the stop sign had been. It appeared a large truck made a left turn off of North Arch Street onto East Allen Street striking both the sign and posts. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
