On November 5th, 2021, at approximately 8:06 pm, the police department was dispatched to 1st block of West Main Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were three vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found the striking vehicle had left the scene. The two vehicles struck were both parked along West Main Street facing east. The striking vehicle was travelling eastbound on West Main Street. For unknown reason the vehicle struck the two parked vehicles. Witnesses to the crash were able to provide a registration. Although the registration provided was not fully correct, the investigating officer was able to determine the correct registration. The officer was able to later locate the vehicle at the owner’s residence and they admitted to driving the striking vehicle and leaving the scene. Charges were filed against the driver.
