On November 8th, 2021, at approximately 12:35 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of West Main and York Streets for a crash. Upon arrival officers determined there was a vehicle and a pedestrian involved. Investigation into the crash found a pedestrian was crossing South York Street eastbound, in the crosswalk. A vehicle turned left, from West Main Street to go southbound on South York Street. The vehicle struck the pedestrian who was walking their dog. The dog not injured, but the pedestrian was transported to the hospital for further evaluation of their injuries. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
