On January 17th, 2022, at approximately 11:58 am, the victim contacted the police department about a hit and run crash. The victim just discovered their vehicle had been struck. The victim advised their vehicle was parked in a parking lot located near the intersection of North High Street and West Strawberry Avenue. The victim’s vehicle, a Freightliner truck, which the victim is leasing, was struck while parked in the lot. A witness advised they saw a white Mercedes SUV driving erratically in the snow covered lot. The SUV struck the truck and drove off. The witness was not able to get a registration from the vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
