On December 8th, 2022, at approximately 10:20 am, the victim contacted the police department after receiving a bank debit card in the mail. The victim, who resides in the 100 block of Longmeadow Street, advised they did not apply for or open the bank account associated with the debit card. The account was reported to have been opened on 11/23. There was a purchase made on the account between the time of opening the account and today. It is unknown how the victim’s information was obtained to open the account. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
