On August 20th, 2021, at approximately 10:20 am, the police department was given information from a witness about thefts which were occurring in the 1st block of Pleasant View Drive. The witness reported someone has been pulling up to the Community Aid bin, located in the business parking lot, and removing items from the bin. The bin has been found hanging open and not secured, according to the witness. Officers made contact with a representative of Community Aid and learned the individual taking the items is not affiliated with Community Aid. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
