On April 9th, 2023, the police department received numerous reports of vehicles being entered, and items taken, as well as criminal mischiefs in the area of 1st, 100 and 200 blocks of East Locust Street, 1st block of East Main Street, and 300 block of West Main Street. In all, there were a total of 8 reports taken. Three juveniles were identified by officers after viewing video surveillance. All three were charged with various crimes related to their involvement in the various reports.
