On February 16th, 2023, at approximately 5:31 pm, the victim contacted the police department after receiving a package they received from an internet order. The victim who resides in the 300 block of East Portland Street advised they ordered a cell phone and upon receiving the package it was found to be empty. It is unknown if the phone was ever put in the package or if it was taken during delivery, as the package was still sealed when the victim opened it. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
