On August 25th, 2022, at approximately 6:32 pm, the police department was dispatched for a crash which just occurred in the 500 block of East Main Street. Upon arrival officers determined there was one vehicle involved. Investigation into the crash found a vehicle was being driven westbound on East Main Street by Donald. The vehicle went across the double yellow line and struck the curb on the south side of the street. The vehicle went over the curb and struck a tree on the property. Donald’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash. Donald was transported to the hospital by EMS for further evaluation of injuries he sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS and the Mechanicsburg Fire Department.
