On May 25th, 2023, at approximately 11:57 am, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred at the intersection of East Main and Chestnut Streets. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Taylor stopped her vehicle at the stop sign facing north on South Chestnut Street. Taylor pulled into the intersection in the path of a motorcycle being operated by Rasmus. EMS was dispatched to the scene to evaluate injuries to Rasmus. Rasmus’ vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
