On October 3rd, 2023, at approximately 6:50 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 500 block of Allendale Road for a crash. Investigation determined that the juvenile operator looked at her phone to check a text message and in doing so, veered off the road and stuck a tree. The operator was evaluated by EMS and transported to the hospital for further treatment. Her vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained.
