On October 14th, 2023, at approximately 10:50 am, the police department was dispatched the intersection of East Main St. and Walnut Street for a crash which just occurred. Investigation determined that Miller was traveling westbound on East Main Street. Miller had stopped for the red traffic signal and proceeded west upon the light turning green. Padfield was traveling northbound on South Walnut Street and ran the red light causing Miller to strike the passenger side of Padfield’s vehicle. Padfield’s vehicle was towed as a result of the damage sustained during the crash.
