On November 6th, 2023, at approximately 4:19 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South Market Street and Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Investigation determined Love was traveling northbound on South Market Street while Hilzman was traveling westbound on East Simpson Street. Both Love and Hilzman entered the intersection causing Love to strike Hilzman’s vehicle. It was determined that Love failed to stop for the steady red signal. Both vehicles were towed from the scene as a result of the damage they sustained.
