Traffic Crash

On June 7th, 2021, at approximately 2:10 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of Shepherdstown Road and East Marble Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a vehicle being operated by Wilt was travelling southbound on Shepherdstown Road. Connor was stopped at the stop sign on East Marble Street facing east. The intersection is a four way stop intersection. After stopping, Connor’s vehicle entered the intersection and was struck by Wilt’s vehicle. Wilt failed to stop for the stop sign in her direction. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained in the crash. Officers were assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
